TNREGINET Registration
You need an account to use most services.
How to create an account
- Visit https://tnreginet.gov.in/
- Click Registration → User Registration

- Choose user type (citizen, document writer, builder)
- Enter name, ID proof, email, mobile, username, password
- Submit the form
- Verify with OTP
- Log in with your new username and password
Important Note
Use the portal within 7 days, or your account may be deactivated. Log in once every 3 months to keep the account active
Property Registration on TNREGINET
The portal lets you prepare documents online before going to the Sub-Registrar Office.
- Log in to TNREGINET
- Go to Create Application → Create Document

- Select document type (sale deed, gift deed, mortgage, settlement, release, partition, POA)
- Enter property details: survey number, subdivision number, district, SRO
- Enter buyer and seller details
- Upload needed documents
- Check stamp duty and registration fee using the portal
- Pay online
- Book an appointment with the Sub-Registrar Office
- Visit the SRO on the selected date for fingerprint and final approval
